You bring time, enthusiasm and your unique perspective to our work.
Christian Aid offers support, training and a chance to develop your skills.
Above all, you’ll put your commitment into action and make a real difference to some of the world’s poorest people.
What can you do as a Christian Aid volunteer?
All sorts! Volunteers are needed to run events, speak about our work, help out in offices, lead school assemblies, get stories in the local media and much more.
We welcome volunteers all year round in all our UK offices, whether you have just a few hours, days or even a whole year to spare.
Where to start?
Use our new searchable database to see if any of our offices near you have a vacancy that suits you, and apply online.
Try it now...

Once we’ve received your application, we’ll get in touch and may invite you to an informal interview. You’ll also need to give us the names of two referees. If we feel the volunteering opportunity is not right for you, we’ll let you know.
Where volunteering involves contact with children or young people, you’ll need to be checked with the CRB (or national equivalent).

And some important info…
Christian Aid encourages volunteering from all sections of the community. We do our best to treat everyone equally.
Please note that all our volunteering opportunities are based in the UK. We welcome volunteers from outside the UK, but we can’t help with travel arrangements, work permits or accommodation.
